About ChiaTown

ChiaTown was put together to sift through the millions of news tidbits that occur every hour and report on things that myself and others in my circles find fairly interesting. I’ll be honest…I’m a fan of the Mac but I wouldn’t call myself a Mac Fanboy. I know there are situations where a PC may be better. I find the wireless arena fascinating, developments on the Internet, how business is utilizing the web, new hardware and software, and generally interesting topics in business and technology.

The author, Jerry Walter (aka Chia) has successfully co-founded two tech companies (one an Internet consulting firm and the other a company with a patent-pending patch cord) and a consulting firm, has been a web developer, help desk agent, consultant, marketing guru, finance guy, and all around business/tech guy. You can see Chia’s LinkedIn profile for more info or follow Chia’s tweets on Twitter. Having lived all over the U.S., worked in a variety of positions, and lived through a wide array of life experiences, you will see unique viewpoints on any number of topics. Feel free to chime in…that’s why were here. To elicit thought and discussion.

If anyone has any opportunities that allow me to be involved with soccer, snowboarding, cycling, mountain biking, photography, videography, running, triathlons, adventure racing, or music, shoot me an email and let’s talk.

If you’d like to make a donation to Chia Town (you know, so I could perhaps fund the hosting fees or even better, get a computer that was manufactured within the past half decade) feel free to contact me. I’ve got the Paypal account and will have a button up here soon enough.

For ANYONE around the world, please send a comment or an email. We’d love to hear how things are similar or different in your part of the world. We can all learn from each other! Perhaps we can help each other out too. Happy reading!

  1. There are no coincidences in life. The fact that your nickname is chia and that you’re an entrepreneur makes it imperative that we speak.

Call or email me and let’s set up a brief phone call.

Looking forward to it, Billy Gadol
